PT Sele Raya Merangin Dua yang kini diketahui beroperasi di wilayah Kecamatan Rawas Ilir Desa Belani diduga limbahnya telah mencemari lingkungan perkebunan warga dengan sengaja
jepi luwantra (28) warga Desa Belani juga merupakan Sekdes Desa Belani menyampaikan bahwa kebun kelapa sawit milik orang tuanya kini tercemar oleh limbah dari PT Sele Raya Merangin Dua (SRMD) yang beroperasi di sekitaran kebun kelapa sawit milik orang tuanya hingga menyebabkan kegagalan pertumbuhan dan kematian pada pohon kelapa sawit,
Hal ini telah beberapa kali di sampkan ke pihak PT Sele Raya Merangin Dua dan dulu juga telah terjadi hal yang sama,terulang lagi dan berulang-ulang kali terjadi,sampai jepi
Lebih lanjut jepi juga mengatakan,hal ini sudah di laporkan ke pihak terkait dan APH
“Saya sudah menyampaikan tembusan dan laporan kepada Dinas Terkait Dinas DLHP karna dinas tersebut yang bertugas menyusun dan melaksanakan kebijakan di bidang lingkungan hidup dan pertanahan, serta melakukan evaluasi dan pelaporan terkait hal tersebut,dan juga telah melapor ke Aparat Penegak Hukum Polres Muratara,Danramil,Serta ke DPRD Muratara
